February 28, 2007 - Progress continues on our new facility. StarTouch is nearing the final stages of the construction process for its new facility in Whatcom County, Washington. This new location will feature an enhanced Server Co-location room, Network Administration conference/training room and room for additional sales and administrative offices.

November 1, 2006 - New StarTouch network is launched to provide services to the Coupeville, Ledger Beach and Admiralty Cove region.

October 15, 2006 - StarTouch merges all TelcomPlus broadband Internet customers into the StarTouch network. TelcomPlus provided high-speed Internet options for customers in the Birch Bay, Washington area, and will continue to provide dial-up services after the merger.

September 12, 2006 - StarTouch acquires wireless network of ABTECH Digital, LLC, a Northwest Washington ISP servicing the Everett, Bothell & Monroe regions with residential and business-class high-speed Internet services.

September 10, 2006 -StarTouch announces major network upgrade with implementation of its very own OC12 (620 Mbps connection) microwave backhaul network to the Westin Building in Seattle, WA. READ ENTIRE PRESS RELEASE (pdf)

August 22, 2006 - The Cities of Monroe and Snohomish, and the residential region of Big Lake, Washington, have recently been added to the StarTouch Coverage area for both business and residential high-speed wireless Internet. Business-class Voice-over IP service will be supported on the Monroe and Snohomish networks.

StarTouch is consistently adding new networks and enlarging the overall wireless coverage areas throughout Northwest Washington, with additional locations to launch in the coming weeks!

August 18, 2006 - StarTouch has begun the construction process for its new facility in Whatcom County, Washington. This new location will feature an enhanced Server Colocation room, Network Administration conference/training room and room for additional sales and administrative offices.

 

July 2006 - Lake Cavanaugh, Washington, now open to StarTouch's residential line of Wireless Internet service

April, 2006 - Jeff Bruns joins StarTouch's team as Field Services Manager. Jeff brings with him multiple  years of experience in the satellite installation industry, and he now oversees StarTouch's installations throughout all service regions including Whatcom, Skagit, Island, Snohomish and King Counties.

August 24, 2005 - StarTouch has proudly joined the Everett Chamber of Commerce and will be participating in many upcoming events in the Everett community.

July 30, 2005 - StarTouch is pleased to announce its new EXPANDED FIBER OPTIC NETWORK with coverage areas connecting customers in the States Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

July 14, 2005 - Everett and Marysville, Washington are the newest cities to receive StarTouch's wireless and fiber optic Internet services. Press Release

May 10, 2005 - StarTouch launches its second Data Center location in Everett, Washington.

April 18, 2005 - StarTouch service vans get a new look - watch for one in your neighborhood!

February 1, 2005 - Stanwood Joins Network. StarTouch announces the launching of its newest residential network in community of Victoria Heights and its surrounding regions in Stanwood, Washington.

November 1, 2004 -Lummi Indian Nation Network Launched. Work has been completed by StarTouch on a new wireless network constructed for the Lummi Indian Nation, Whatcom County, Washington. This network will allow for a variety of high-speed Internet service packages to be available to both the residential and educational community on the Lummi Indian Reservation.

June 30, 2004 - Service to the Fair. StarTouch is pleased to announce that it will be providing wireless Internet connectivity to the upcoming 2004 Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, Washington. Service will be available to all Fair participants and Vendors.

StarTouch will be on site with a booth for Internet service registration, and will also be providing Internet Access Stations for guests of the Fair who wish to check-in with the office through web-based emails.

March 17, 2004 - Major Network Upgrade. StarTouch, Inc., one of N.W. Washington's leading providers of broadband communications services, today announced it is migrating services and customer IP traffic onto its upgraded Fiber Optic capacity Internet backbone network utilizing FiberCloud Corporation. This places StarTouch as one of only a handful of major telecommunications companies capable of delivering wireless or Fiber Optic data end-to-end throughout locations in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho at speeds of up to 100 Mbps per second or more.

Also, with this exciting backbone upgrade StarTouch will cross-connect its network with Black Rock Cable. This direct cross-connect now allows StarTouch to provide direct Managed Fiber Optics to its Business Customer base. Black Rock Cable is currently expanding its Fiber Based services in Whatcom and Skagit County areas and has created a Strategic Partnership with StarTouch that will provide cross-customer connectivity and services by StarTouch.

March 3, 2004 - Coverage Area Expanded on Camano Island, WA. Expansions to the StarTouch network have allowed for a huge increase in coverage area for the businesses and residents of Camano Island. Areas now covered include the North, Northwest, Northeast, Eastern and Western sides of the Island. Southern regions have limited coverage.

March 1, 2004 - Coverage to Anacortes, WA Now Available. Until now, only limited coverage was available to the Anacortes area. Recent expansions of the StarTouch Network have made coverage widely available to the City and surrounding areas of Anacortes. March 1, 2004 - Web Site Template Program Launched! - Nearly 6,500 Web site template designs are now available for StarTouch customers to select from. Web site design decisions have never been easier!

January 17, 2004 - StarTouch DSL Services Now Available in Sudden Valley through Qwest®. Residential speed packages of 256k/256k, 640k/256k and 1.5M/896k are now available to the community of Sudden Valley. To find out if a location is qualified, please contact our sales department.

May 15, 2003 - StarTouch Provides Broadband to Marinas & Hotspots. StarTouch has recently completed the successful deployment of numerous wireless broadband infrastructures servicing Marinas, Hot Spots, and Resorts along the Northwest coastline.

December 28, 2002 - Sudden Valley Community Welcomed to Family of StarTouch Networks.
StarTouch breaks new ground, and proudly announces the implementation of its newest Network offering high-speed wireless Internet services, for the first time ever, to the community of Sudden Valley in Bellingham, Washington. Speeds start at 256K up to 1 Mbps.

November 18, 2002 - StarMail goes live!
StarTouch customers now have the ability to access their e-mails from anywhere in the world where there is Internet connectivity to access our Web site.

August 4, 2002 - StarTouch Corporate Offices Move to Customized Location
With the increased demand for functional space to accommodate our growing departments, StarTouch has re-located its offices to Ferndale, Washington. This space offers an enhanced Network Operations Center to meet the demand for server co-location and network services.

August 1, 2002 - StarTouch Unveils New Pricing Packages for Whatcom County, Washington.
Equipment enhancements now allow StarTouch to offer new lower pricing in package format to both new and existing customers.

March 4, 2002 - StarTouch Unveils New Pricing Packages for Skagit County, Washington.
Skagit County receives new, very affordable pricing packages with bandwidth speeds starting at 256K, reaching all the way to 8Mbps or more.

March 1, 2002 - Network Operations Center (NOC) Now Fully Operational.
StarTouch announces the opening of their Network Operations Center and is now accepting servers for co-location.

October 15, 2001 - DSL
StarTouch Inc., a leading Broadband service provider, announces the completion of adding Qwest DSL to its lineup of Broadband service offerings. StarTouch is now listed as a Qwest DSL Mega-Central provider, and offers its DSL service in the greater Puget Sound area. With free hook-ups and free modems StarTouch DSL customers simply cannot go wrong! In a continual effort to become the leading Broadband Internet service company, StarTouch made this move which will further customer satisfaction, and choices to its clients. Qwest is making new advancements in its deployment of DSL and StarTouch will be able to service customers in these areas as soon as they are turned up..

July 19, 2001 - StarTouch Inc sponsors the "Vortex"
StarTouch Inc. sponsors the "Vortex" hosted at the Chrysalis Inn, in Bellingham, WA. This event provides a relaxed networking of businesses, equipment vendors, and service providers from Portland, Oregon, Seattle, WA, and from Vancouver BC. Listed as the "place to be" by one of the local news publications, StarTouch is sure to provide a look into the Wireless industry to attendee's of the event.

April 1, 2001 StarTouch Inc. announces a major network advance in N.W Washington.
New areas such as Skagit, Snohomish, and Island County's are ready for customers! Now for the first time ever, Business and residential customers will have a broadband choice. StarTouch's new network will be using the latest state-of-the-art wireless technology and will be providing more speed and more locations then ever before. StarTouch was the pioneer Wireless Internet provider in Bellingham, WA. three years ago, and was the "first" Company to deploy Wireless Internet connectivity in that area. Since that time wireless networks have been built in other parts of the State and in over 15 Cities in California.

April 17-18 2001 - Tele-Tech 2001 Conference.
Through its relationship with the Economic Development Committee, StarTouch was asked again to provide a Local Area Network for all of the Exhibitors in the event. StarTouch also provided a 2Mbps Wireless Internet connection to all the booths. This Wireless Internet service received much praise, as most all of the vendors put a heavy demand on the network and experienced 100% uptime and speeds that met or exceeded demand. StarTouch had also provided its Wireless service to the Tele-Tech 2000 last year.
