StarTouch Broadband Services Launches Wireless Internet Business and Enterprise Class Solutions to Yakima, Naches, Selah & Lower Valley Regions

StarTouch, Inc., a Washington-based Internet Service Provider since 1998, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Wireless Broadband Services to communities in Yakima, Naches and Selah. Speeds begin at 1.5Mbps and reach up to 50 Mbps to meet the demands of both small businesses and enterprise-class clientele.

StarTouch has further expanded its network presence in Yakima and Spokane with its network operation Terminal suites, supporting loop, transport, and upstream Internet of all Telco-related services, from T-1', DS3's, and OC -   with an aggressive pricing model for which the local Telco providers will have a difficult time competing with.

This new network is being expanded off of StarTouch's privately-owned microwave "backbone" or Gigabit IP Transport infrastructure that now runs through Yakima, Selah, Spokane and into Idaho.   It connects to StarTouch's previously existing Western Washington network that reaches from the Canadian border to Seattle, and is entirely independent of all Telco carriers which have previously held a captive market.

"We have the backbone in place to reach from city to city with our microwave tower systems," said Stacie Scheffer, StarTouch's Operations Manager, "and now we're literally reaching out with services into the communities that can be serviced from those towers in a manner and scale that has never existed in the past.   We are able to bring individual, scalable-speed connections to individual locations whether they have a small home office (SOHO) or they're an enterprise-class client with the highest demands for speed and quality service."

With StarTouch's cohesive microwave infrastructure throughout Western and now Eastern Washington, clients with multiple locations in a variety of cities can be provided carrier-class services and seamlessly tie their operations together for a more productive and cost effective solution.
